By Playing at happybidder.co.uk you agree to the following terms and conditions which may vary from time to time. These terms and conditions was last updated 8th July 2009.

 

1) Anyone who registers with us must be over 18 and adhere to these terms and conditions

2) Free Bidding is allowed to all registered members subject to fair play (maximum of 1000 bids per month)

3) Credits purchased will not expire, you are responsible for your own account and must not share your username or password with anyone including our staff.

4) All members will be polite, play by the rules and enjoy their time at happybidder.co.uk

5) If you win an auction you must pay within 48 hours of the auction closing. Payment by Paypal only.

6) Delivery will be made to your home address only, you must allow 120 working days for delivery, however, we do dispatch usually within 30 working days.

7) No refund or dispute will be entered into until the 120 days have passed.

8) Our proof of delivery is proof of the item arriving. Any losses, damage or mis-placed items are your responsiblity.

9) We offer no warranty, however, all items are brand new and will come with a 1 year guarantee from the company involved.

10) Only 1 account per address per person.

11) You must make all payments from your PayPal account only. No third party payments are allowed and any accounts which fail security checks will be asked to supply further ID.

12) In all cases, our decision is final.

13) If a member is rude, abusive or threatening, your account will be terminated with immediate effect and you will forfit all winning items and items with no refunds.

14) Please allow 1 working day for a reply.

15) All cash wins will be aimed to payout within 30 days via PayPal only. If we agree to an alternative payment method (IE Cheque) there will be a £10 charge

16) If we extend an auction win, a charge of £2.50 will be applied.

17) If you need an extention to make payment you must do so within the first 24 hours, if you do not, we will not extend the auction.

18) Payments made to us via PayPal which are later put into dispute with Paypal or charged back will result in us taking legal action including but not limited to, using Debt Recovery or Full Legal recoveries.

19) Items will be sent via Royal mail, larger items will be sent via courier and all items will be updated inside your account of the status they are in.

20) We reserve the right to set a minimum price known as a Reserve price on all auctions. If this price is not met, we may, at our discestion, decline and refund your auction, cancel your auction, or offer an alternative product.

21) All auction wins are subject to further checks.

22) If we can no longer find the product you win, we reserve the right to change the item for an similiar product of equal value.

23) We may offer a cash alternative to your item win

24) You may request a cash alternative to your auction win at a fee of 35%

25) Payments we make to you, a handling charge applies to all cash wins of £1.00 (for transactions £100 and lower) and £5 for wins of £101 and over.

26) There is a £1.00 charge on all bid pack wins

27) You will be responsible for the amount of bids you place, we cannot refund any bid packs, cancel items you win.

28) This is a binding contract.

29) If you wish to cancel your account, you should use the contact form and allow 7 days for your detail to be removed.

30) If you close your account, you will lose any wins not paid, bids not used and any items outstanding will be delivered once your account has been fully closed.

31) We will not accept accounts that look the same as other users, you are not allowed to use Foul, Abusive or Similiar usernames as our users.

32) We may block access to your account if you are using or we think you are using Robots or Software to place bids.

33) Bids at happybidder.co.uk have a cash value of £0.00000001

34) Bid packs purchased with a discount code are bound by the same rules unless notified.

35) You can use promotion codes that are available, if however, you break the terms and conditions or use a code you are not allowed to, you will lose all bids. No refund.

36) Customers outside of the UK will pay £10 extra for delivery.

37) Customers who bid more than 1 bid per second may be suspended

38) Our decision to pay out on auction wins is final

39) If 120 days passes and you have not received your auction win, you are entitled to a cash alternative less our standard fee (35%) or an item which is of similiar value and will be delivered within 7 working days.

40) If you are not home when a delivery takes place, a charge of £10 will be incrued to re-arrange delivery. You will need to re-arrange delivery unless we tell you otherwise.

41) Items that are not delivered because of wrong address details are subject to a charge of £10.00

42) If you purchase bids and do not use them, you are not entitled to request a refund.

43) If you have an enquiry regarding your purchase, you must contact us.

44) We may, record any call you make us, monitor any email you send us and use your information for marketing purposes, such as new auctions and offers we believe will interest you.

45) Customers who sign up to our newsletter will only receive newsletters from us, we will not share or sell your information

46) If we send you offers which we believe may be of interest to you, you must understand that we are not responsible for the content or the offer.

47) We may offer you free bids as a promotion or compensation for faults etc. If we do these bids are expired after 30 working days.

48) New accounts will receive 5 free bids, you have no cash alternative and if you do win an auction, we may request that you send us ID for proof.

49) If you make payment via PayPal from an unconfirmed address, we may cancel or wait for PayPal to confirm your details before we dispatch items

50) We will do our best to make sure our site is fair played, we monitor all auctions day and night, if a fault occurs, the auction is void and will not be paid out.

52) We have always and always will go out of our way to be polite and happy to serve you, we will do our best to make you happy, keep you happy and help you enjoy the experience.

53) If you have a complaint about us, a member of our staff or our service, then email happybiddercomplaints@happybidder.co.uk

54) We want you to bid responsibily, please only bid what you can afford to pay.

55) We will not accept any kind of threats, if you win an auction, you must pay or your account may be suspended or other items you have won will be declined.

56) We may issue a warning to you at any time for exceeding the free auction policy

56) Free Auctions are exclusive to us, we will only run free auctions to attract new players and to offer a valuable members a fun and free auction. These have the same minimum reserve price and you are restrcited to a fair usuage policy of 1000 bids per month (or 50 bids per day) at our discresion. If we feel you are abusing our free auctions and not allowing anyone else to bid (IE Rapid bidding or extended bidding through a period in the day) we will email you and ask you to stop. If you do not, your account may be suspended.

57) To date we do not have a maximum or minimum win policy, this may be reviewed in the future.

58) You must add full address and post code to your account

59) We will always do our best to get deliveries on time to your address, however, if you make a mistake with your post code, you may not receive the item and we are not going to compensate you.

60) We will not deliver to anywhere else. We do not deliver to Afganastan, China, Russia, Singapore, certain areas of America may not be legally allowed to bid at happybidder.co.uk

61) If you know you are not allowed to bid on our website and you do, you take the risks and the punichment.

62) Our decision is always final. We will not discuss your account if we close it.

63) Our terms and conditions may be updated at any time, if this affects your play, we will email you if you are a registered member.

64) Bids that are placed are not refunable and will mean you agree to pay the auction price, if the clock reaches zero and your name is shown as the highest bidder, you win.

65) We may offer the next person down the list the item in event of non payment
